about me

I am an artist living in New York City with pet rats, a huge cat and a rabbit. While I came from an artistic family, I am largely self taught. My work experience is commercial, doing storyboards and comps for advertising. I have illustrated 3 books in the Gali Girl Jewish History Series, which was fun as I have a passion for history. In addition, I do ACEO cards and watercolor portraits, both of pets and of people. I have had to learn Photoshop coloring for my job, but my first love is working in traditional mediums and drawing. My portraits are done by commissions, mainly from friends. Often they are memorials to beloved pets (including pet rats) that have passed. My ACEOs are mainly done for fun and to sell on eBay.
